From this chart for BBC 1 in the last week of September The GBBO was again the highest viewed show.

The main people who are watching this programme are people who have an interest in baking.

Out of the top 15 films in the UK this weekend only 4 of them have UK links.

Disadvantages and Advantages of Online Surveys.

Online Surveys

Advantages

No interviewer - because there is no interviewer there the interviewee may be more comfortable sharing personal information that they may not be willing to if another person was in the room was them.

It is convenient for the respondent - The respondent can take their time answering the questions because if another person is there then they may feel rushed into giving an answer and not give an honest answer.

Low Costs - Because you can send the surveys for free it will save you a lot of money.

Disadvantages 

No interviewer - Because there isn't a trained interviewer in the room the participant may answer a question incorrectly and not know.

Limited Sampling - Because some places in the world don't have regular access to the internet

Possible Co-Operations problems - Although online surveys in many fields can attain response rates equal to or slightly higher than that of traditional modes, internet users today are constantly bombarded by other messages that can put them off answering your survey.
